Representative subject areas include electrical fundamentals, electrical versus mechanical power, alternating current principles and circuits, wiring considerations, transformer applications, lighting, and DC generators and motors. This course is a continuation of Industrial Electricity I. The subject areas offer an advanced and in-depth view of many technologies related to industrial electricity. Subjects include AC alternators and motors, motor controls, basic industrial electronics, AC/DC electronic motor drive systems and a programmable logic controller overview.
